2hr Workshop: $59

This is a workshop that follows Leather Work 301 (pre-requisite). In this sewing workshop you will receive practice materials to utilize  with sewing tips and tricks and machine details .   Working at the sewing machines with this kind of focus, you’ll be much more comfortable coming in to Open Studio and working on the machines independently.  Highly recommended. Spend time practicing at the machines.  Test your sewing skills with different thicknesses of leathers from our leather scrap bins.  Become comfortable with the varying speeds of the machines we have here at the school.  There is no substitute for practice!!   The instructor will give you guidance and support toward building self reliance with industrial sewing machines.  Projects can be made during these sessions as practice pieces.  Project materials are not provided.
